Her debut album “Trumpet Concertos”, featuring works by Arutiunian, Peskin, and Desenclos, was released in October 2020 under the Orfeo label in collaboration with the ORF Radio-Symphony Orchestra Vienna and Roberto Paternostro.

In June 2021, her second album, recorded together with pianist En-Chia Lin, was also released by Orfeo.

In the same year, she performed the world premiere of Thomas Wally’s trumpet concerto “Utopia I: Seltsame Schleifen” at the opening concert of Wien Modern, together with the ORF Radio-Symphony Orchestra Vienna under Marin Alsop at the Vienna Konzerthaus.

In March 2022, another album was released on the Orfeo label in collaboration with the RSO Vienna, pianist Maria Radutu, and conductor Dirk Kaftan, featuring works by Shostakovich, Weinberg, and Jolivet.

After completing her Master of Arts in trumpet with distinction at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna, she was awarded the Austrian Federal Ministry’s Prize of Recognition in 2022.

In 2024, Selina Ott once again collaborated with the RSO Vienna, performing HK Gruber’s trumpet concerto “Aerial” at the Vienna Konzerthaus under the direction of the composer himself.

Recent highlights include debut performances with the Hamburg State Orchestra at the Elbphilharmonie under Marie Jacquot, the HR Symphony Orchestra under Alain Altinoglu, the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra at Die Glocke Bremen, as well as return engagements at the Berlin Philharmonie and with the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra.

In the current season, she will give the world premiere of Ryan Latimer’s trumpet concerto “Bestia” and make her debut with the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Fabien Gabel at the Barbican Centre London. Further engagements include concerts with the Residentie Orkest Den Haag, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Baden-Baden Philharmonic at the KKL Lucerne, as well as tours in China (Zhuhai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Guiyang) and Australia and New Zealand (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Auckland).
